Corsair iCUE Software
The Corsair iCUE software can control multiple compatible Corsair devices in a single application. There are a number of options to choose from to gain access to many features about the device. Upon opening the application, we are greeted with the profile section in an easy to navigate user interface.
Macro functions can also be recorded through the iCUE software. They can then be mapped to any key on the device.
Lighting effects still maintain the same flexibility as previous Corsair products. We can have up to five static layers to personalize a theme or choose between the several lighting animation effects.
In the performance tab, we can choose to enable/disable various keyboard key combinations and adjust the color to a few indicator keys.
Because the K70 RGB MK.2 has 8MB of onboard memory for profile settings and macro playback, we can store up to three different profiles on the keyboard. This eliminates the need to have the software running to run the lighting effects and other crucial features.
Now that we have seen the essential features in the iCUE software, let’s go ahead and see how the K70 RGB MK.2 performs in the next section.
