OCZ RevoDrive 350 480GB PCIe SSD Review

OCZ RevoDrive 350 480GB PCIe SSD Review

The new OCZ RevoDrive 350 PCI Express x8 SSD is a revamp of the RevoDrive line first introduced by OCZ back in 2010. The fresh new look of the OCZ RevoDrive 350 is of course paired with new internals. The drive has 19nm Toshiba MLC NAND, 4x LSI SandForce flash memory controllers (2x for the 240GB model), and OCZ’s proprietary Virtualized Controller Architecture running the show. The review unit I received is the 480GB version which is rated for read/write speeds of up to 1800 MB/s and 1700 MB/s, and costs around $800 at the time of writing. There are two other versions available that come in capacities of 240GB and 960GB, costing approximately $500 and $1250, respectively… at Neoseeker
