Razer Celebrates First Multi-Platform Game Release Under OUYA Publishing Umbrella, Announces Intent to Expand Android Entertainment Resources, Partnerships Manifold
By Razer
With the release of Mimic Arena on console, PC, micro-console and streaming media player, nascent publishing arm of gaming’s No. 1 lifestyle brand sets its sights on more, better, broader distribution of Android content
Indie game developer Tiny Horse Games announced earlier today the release of its debut title, “Mimic Arena,” through OUYA Publishing. The game marks the first multi-platform release by OUYA Publishing and will include “Mimic Arena” distribution on Razer Forge TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and NVIDIA Shield.
OUYA Publishing was born out of last year’s acquisition of OUYA assets and related IP by Razer, a global leader in connected devices and software for gamers. Razer repositioned OUYA—the most successful crowd-funded business of its day and pioneer of the first console for Android-based games—as a development and distribution arm supporting Android-based game makers and platforms. Key members of the original OUYA team were on boarded to oversee the business and foster productive relationships within the Android community. OUYA Publishing previously served as a publishing promotional partner and helped in funding Numinous Games’ “That Dragon, Cancer,” which released on January 12 for Razer Forge TV and Steam.
The ongoing mission of OUYA Publishing leaves it focused on improving all aspects of the Android entertainment space, advocating platform inclusivity and broad-based publishing with all available Android TV partners who value curated, unique, quality content. In the spirit of this ongoing commitment, OUYA Publishing announced plans to expand resources for partner-funding programs, the details of which it plans to announce sometime in the next several weeks.

Everything the player does, wherever they go, every shot fired; is recorded and then played back again as a Mimic.
