Panasonic KX-TG954x Two-Line Link2Cell Phone Announced

New, sleek design provides convenient features for home office and small business use

Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company today announced the introduction of the KX-TG954x, a two-line telephone that utilizes Link2Cell® technology, allowing for up to three calls to be placed simultaneously.  With its convenient new features including the dual answering machine system and power back-up operation, the Panasonic KX-TG954x is ideal for home office and small business use.

Panasonic’s 2 Line plus Link2Cell® phone, expandable up to six handsets and four registered cell phones, allows users to make and receive calls throughout the home or office using Link2Cell technology which links up to two cell phones (per phone line) to a Panasonic Cordless Telephone. When the cell phone is placed in an area where reception is generally the best, users can have clear conversations anywhere in the home using the cordless handset.  A user can even enjoy long telephone conversations while charging their cell phone with the base unit’s convenient USB port, eliminating worries about the cell phone battery running out mid-conversation.  As an added benefit, users can receive alerts on the phone’s handsets when they receive text messages on their cell phones.  Message-alert-by-call is a new function that gives users flexibility when not in the office. Also, when a user receives a voice message on the answering device, the message-alert-by-call function will automatically call a pre-registered cell phone giving you the option to know when a message is waiting, even if you are away from home or small office.

To ensure important calls or messages are not missed, Panasonic’s 2 Line phone has a two-answering-machine system that can be used separately on each land line for private and professional use. The dual answering machine stores a maximum of 128 messages and allows up to a 60 minute combined recording capacity for both land lines. In addition, each land line can be registered with a certain time zone and separate outgoing message for incoming calls.

Power backup operation allows users to stay connected during a power outage by providing an extra battery in the base unit for up to three hours of usage time. With the optional Range Extender accessory, conversations can be extended up to double your existing range.

The Panasonic KX-TG954x noise reduction and talking caller ID features are convenient for both home office and small business users. Additionally, its flexible design including, a 52mm diameter high-quality speakerphone, tilting 3.4” LCD display, USB charging port, 2-Line answering machine buttons and noise reduction button allow for greater ease of use.
