New Product Promises TV Freedom, Revolutionizes Over-The-Air Broadcast TV Viewing, Recording & Streaming Video

Channel Master today unveiled a new subscription-free consumer DVR that promises to revolutionize how people record and view free over-the-air TV programming. DVR+™, an unrivaled, all-in-one, easy-to-use, broadcast TV DVR, combines multiple features into what may be the ultimate affordable cord-cutting solution to ensure anyone can watch and record free HD-quality broadcast TV, no broadband connection required, and also access streaming video services and enhanced features when a broadband connection is used.

DVR+ combines a High Definition dual-tuner DVR, the economical flexibility of an external hard drive, streaming video services and a unique integrated TV programming guide all in one ultra-slim device, standing just over one-half inch in height.

For consumers seeking alternatives to pay TV services, DVR+ makes it easy to watch and record free over-the-air TV programming, including all of your favorite network shows, news, and sports, provided by your local broadcast stations and affiliates.

Today, in most major U.S. markets, a great number of broadcast channels, in addition to ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS and The CW, are available for free. For a true TV Everywhere and integrated 2nd Screen experience, DVR+ is compatible with the Slingbox 500, allowing users to watch their TV on a mobile device either around the home or from anywhere in the world with a broadband connection.
