The RTA1750 features three high gain antennas and twelve total high power amplifiers, the most ever used in an Amped Wireless product, allowing this Router to deliver more Wi-Fi range and better performance than any other Router in the Amped line up. The amplifiers include three 2.4GHz amplifiers, three 5GHz, and six advanced, low noise amplifiers. The cutting-edge technology packed into the RTA1750 gives it the ability to stream high quality media at faster speeds to multiple devices at once, with ease.

This Router is equipped with a USB port for file sharing and five gigabit wired ports for attaching additional wired devices. The RTA1750 includes an updated user interface, premium software features such as guest networks, adjustable Wi-Fi coverage controls, parental security and support for IPv6 Internet connections.

“We are really excited to share our newest, fastest, most powerful and most innovative Router yet,” said Lacey Neddo, Brand/Marketing Manager at Amped Wireless. “The RTA1750 is a powerhouse. It is equipped to deliver more range than any of our other Routers and is built for demanding Wi-Fi activities for multiple, simultaneous users in every room of a large home or office. It’s perfect for households with many devices accessing the Internet at once.”

The RTA1750 Router also features 802.11ac technologies from Qualcomm Atheros, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated. The Qualcomm® VIVE™ family of 802.11ac solutions—from networking to mobile and computing—was designed with on-board processors and hardware acceleration to offload Wi-Fi processing from the host CPU.

“The quantity of data-intensive content streaming is increasing across networks, as more people are using high-performance Wi-Fi to access videos, movies, gaming and music from wherever they are. Qualcomm Atheros 802.11ac solutions enable seamless HD video-grade performance even on crowded, busy networks,” said Gopi Sirineni, senior director of product marketing, Qualcomm Atheros, Inc. “At the leading edge of the 802.11ac standard, we are pleased to enable companies like Amped Wireless to deliver more bandwidth to homes and businesses.”

The RTA1750 has a retail price of $179.99 and is now available for pre-order online, shipping to customers mid-December, and will soon be available at major brick and mortar retailers. For more information and to place orders, visit the Amped Wireless website.
