Jöllenbeck GmbH continues to expand its current PC gaming range with its own brand SPEEDLINK. At today’s gamescom day, the company is presenting two mechanical keyboards for the first time. The full-size VELATOR keyboard (RRP € 69.99) not only has a driver, but also ten macro-enabled keys and other features. The keyboard (€ 99.99) is based on a robust aluminium plate and offers extra LED lighting in addition to driver software. The launch of both keyboards is planned for the first quarter of 2016.
This year, SPEEDLINK continues to focus on functional accessories for PC gamers. At this year’s gamescom, the northern German company is celebrating a première: For the first time, two mechanical keyboards will expand the current range. The top model ULTOR is a so-called tenkeyless keyboard, where a number pad is deliberately left off. The compact design is complemented by the red-aluminium plate on which the keys are attached. The appearance is rounded off with LED lighting, which provides for a white illumination of the relevant gaming keys and a blue illumination of the other keys. Thanks to the comprehensive driver software, extensive macros can be configured in up to five profiles and saved to a total of six keys. The keys are equipped with red Kailh switches and designed for up to 50 million keystrokes. The delay-free transmission of commands is guaranteed by the ultra-polling rate. The ULTOR should be commercially available in the first quarter of 2016 for € 99.99 (RRP).
The VELATOR mechanical keyboard is also equipped with the driver software for individual configuration and has a total of ten customisable keys. The individual keys are equipped with long-lasting blue Kailh switches and provide a precise keystroke. Via the FN key, eight additional function keys can be controlled. Both keyboards have the typical SPEEDLINK premium braided USB cable. Scheduled launch for the VELATOR (€ 69.99 RRP) is also the first quarter of 2016.
