iQ5 is the world’s first Mid-Side stereo microphone for iOS devices Zoom North America has announced the immediate availability of the iQ5 mid-side condenser microphone for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The iQ5 attaches to the iOS device Lightning connector and provides two microphone elements in a mid-side configuration. Mid-side (MS) recording is an advanced technique that allows the capture of crystal clear stereo audio which is fully mono compatible.
