The Hermes P1 RGB mechanical gaming keyboard is part of a new RGB gaming peripheral line from Gamdias. It features RGB illumination with clicky TTC Blue mechanical switches on the signature Gamdias aluminum frame. Six separate profiles can store different macro functions and lighting effects. The best way to test peripherals is to use them, so over the course of two weeks the Func KB-460 became my “daily driver.” I used it to type this (and other) reviews, as well as for any games or applications I used during that time (there were more than a few rounds of Battlefield 4 played on the KB-460, as well as some Mechwarrior: Online, ARMA III and X3: Albion Prelude to try a few different keyboard-heavy games). The K70 is the third attempt by Corsair at making mechanical keyboards, and I think that they have finally nailed it this time. Their initial release featured a mix of mechanical keys and rubber dome keys that many users didn’t approve of. Their second release featured backlit keys and macro keys but still had a mix of mechanical and rubber dome keys.
